IRC Religious Conflicts and Coping Strategies

Titleimage: IFK

Numerous present and past conflicts contain a religious dimension. Nevertheless, the precise nature of the religious factor oftentimes remains unclear. It is the objective of the Interfaculty Research Cooperation (IRC) Religious Conflicts and Coping Strategies to develop an analytical model that helps to illuminate the different factors within conflicts (economical, political, cultural, etc.) with a specific focus on the religious dimensions. At the same time, the IRC provides in-depth analysis of different strategies for the transformation of religiously connotated conflicts.
